Also, Dr. Hickey, a local veterinarian, will talk with the students about the nutritional needs of dogs and how to keep their dogs healthy and happy! |

Learn to make tortillas from scratch, chips & salsa, black bean burritos, tacos, Spanish rice, and caramel flan. We will also learn basic Spanish cooking vocabulary and discuss the regions and geography of Mexico. Students will dine on their wonderful creations. |

We will explore the many applications of chocolate and create a variety of delicious treats that may include chocolate dipped strawberries, molded chocolates, brownies, chocolate pudding, mousse, and truffles. The history, origin and production methods of chocolate will be explained. Students will sample their creations and bring the remainder home to share. A lunch including a sandwich, chips and fruit will be served. |

Rowling's incredible books, we will work like house elves to create Chocolate Frogs, Caldron Cakes, Chocolate Wands, Hagrid's Rock Cakes, Pumpkin Pasties, and Cockroach Clusters. With a bit of trivia and magical lore this class will be as fun as a day in Hogsmead! As a special treat witches and wizards can choose Butter Beer or Professor Flitwick's Cherry Fizz to enjoy with lunch!

Turnovers, sausage biscuits, muffins, scones, granola and yogurt, and quiche are tempting ways to start the day and we will make all of them! We will learn about the nutritional importance of breakfast and how what we eat effects how we feel. Breakfast is delicious any time of day and students will dine on their fresh baked goodies! |

Mother's Day Cookie Bouquet Made just for Mom by her little sweetie!Pastry Chef Sara Woodford will help each child decorate five large cookies with a "water color painting" technique and then add dimensional embellishments. After the cookies dry, kids will "plant" them in a spring tin pail. Kids will feel so proud of the beautiful and tasty gift they made for their moms!
